UNITI Scholarship
School and college costs for students who could not otherwise go, funded by members and donors.
What it is
Talent is spread evenly; money is not. The UNITI Scholarship covers the costs that keep a capable student out of a classroom: fees, books, exam costs, a laptop, the things around a course. Awards go to students from under-privileged families in the community, chosen by a small panel of members, and each student is paired with a member who has been through the same path. Donors can fund a named scholarship or give to the pool.
Who it's for: Students from families in the community who cannot cover fees, books, or the costs around a course, and the donors who fund them.
What members leave with
- A student in a classroom who would otherwise not be
- The costs around a course, not just the fee, so nobody drops out over a textbook
- A mentor in the community for the years after the award
How it works
- 1A family or a member tells UNITI about a student who needs help.
- 2The panel meets the student and the family, and decides on need and commitment.
- 3UNITI pays the costs directly and pairs the student with a mentor.
- 4The student tells the community how it went. That story is what funds the next one.

How much is an award?
It depends on the course and the gap. We cover what actually keeps the student out, from a textbook to a full fee, rather than a fixed sum.
Can my company fund a scholarship?
Yes. A named scholarship carries your name for the year, and you meet the student. See Sponsor and partner.
