UNITI aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across unitiusa.org, the member sites on uniti.team, and the training portal at upskill.uniti.team.
What we do
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and labelled controls so screen readers can navigate
- Keyboard access to every menu, form, and button, with visible focus
- Text contrast that meets AA on both light and dark backgrounds
- Animations that stop when your device asks for reduced motion
- Captions on recorded sessions where available, and supporting documents for every session
- Live sessions on Zoom with chat, so questions can be typed as well as spoken
Known limitations
Some older recordings do not yet have captions. Third-party services we link to, such as the donation form and video hosting, follow their own accessibility practices.
