How UNITI is governed
Who decides, under what rules, and where the documents are. Where a document is not posted yet, this page says so and says when.
Structure
Who decides
Four bodies, each answerable to the one above it. The people in each seat, and the seats still open, are on the leadership page.
Members
Every member household has a voice. Services start when ten members want one and one person will lead it.
Officers
The President runs the organization day to day. The Secretary keeps the records; the Treasurer keeps the books.
Board of directors
Independent directors who approve the budget, review the programs, and hold the officers to account.
Committees
One per area of work, each with a chair who sits on the calendar and reports to the board.

Nobody is paid
Officers, directors, chairs and leads all volunteer. There is no payroll, so a gift funds a program, not a salary.
Members run it
Every service has a member lead and a committee. A service starts when ten members want it and one will lead it, and it stops if members stop coming.
Everything is on the record
Dates, numbers and names on this site are ones the organization can defend. Where a figure or a seat is missing, the page says so instead of filling it in.
